  Hi, welcome to PioneerPlanning.com!
  
  My name is Jeff Tyndall and I'm a professional planner with over 10 years of experience in the public sector and a member of the AICP. I spent the first 29 years of my life in New Jersey and am currently residing in Jacksonville, NC. I'm working with a wonderful environmental and planning firm working with different Federal clients. The new people I've met and challenges I've faced have reenergized me. My goal with this blog is to bring you the latest innovations in public planning, sustainability, and urban design. I have a passion for ground breaking ideas that actually work, not just a theory.
  
  My professional interests are in long range & comprehensive planning, redevelopment & infill development, adaptive reuse, urban design and the public process that makes all these things happen. I am also interested in transportation, sustainability, and smart growth. Some non-planning related issues that interest me are fire/emergency services, coin collecting, and photography.
